Quantity 1 = 1 Foot of Lime Reflective Base Material. Or 1 Foot of Red Transparent Overlay
(Pictures at the bottom of this page)
On this page we carry all the material that you need to create perfect, highly reflective, chevron patterns on the Panniers or Saddle Bags of your motor cycle. All the material on this page is sold by the foot so you can buy as much as you need for whatever size area you need to cover.
This particular kit consists of highly reflective lime V98 base material that can be purchased in 6", 8", or 12" widths. Also on this page, you can order the red transparent striping in either a 2" or 1.5" width. Both can be purchased by the foot. With the lime base material and the red overlay you can create chevrons on almost any surface that will accept an adhesive product, such as saddle bags and panniers. A smooth, flat, hard, surface is best.
The prices per linear foot are as follows -
Red 1.5" or 2" Transparent Overlay - 75 Cents Per Linear Foot
Fluorescent Lime 6" Material - $5.00 Per Linear Foot
Fluorescent Lime 8" Material - $7.00 Per Linear Foot
Fluorescent Lime 12" Material - $10.00 Per Linear Foot
To purchase, simply measure the area you need to stripe, and add the width and length of lime V98 base material that you need to the shopping cart. Then add the amount of 1.5" or 2" transparent red over lay you need for the job.
To install just apply the lime base material to your Panniers of Saddle Bags and trim if necessary. Then apply the red overlay. You can use a mild soapy water solution in a spray bottle to make applying the overlay easier. (1/4 teaspoon soap to 16 ounces of water) Trim the red stripes and you are done. Your bike will not be visible for hundreds of feet away.
We use only the finest Oralite V98 conformable material. It is a softer vinyl based prismatic film and is definately the easiest reflective material to work with. It is very popular with fire departments.
V98 is incredibly reflective at night, and highly visible during the day due to the prismatic design of the material and the fluorescent lime and red color combination. Be seen for thousands of feet away for maximum safety.
