SOLID CHEVRON ROLLS and Components - NFPA 1901

We carry 5 different types of 6" wide chevron striping.  Type 1 Flexible Engineer Grade, Oralite V92 Daybright, Oralite V98 Conformable Prismatic - (most popular), Oralite V82 Type 5 and Nikkalite Type 8 CRG. National Fire Protection Agency Guidelines (NFPA 1901 1917) recommend the following guidelines for fire trucks and emergency vehicles -

REFLECTIVE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE 

At least 50 percent of the rear-facing vertical surfaces, visible from the rear of the apparatus, excluding any pump panel areas not covered by a door, shall be equipped with retroreflective striping in a chevron pattern sloping downward and away from the centerline of the vehicle at an angle of 45 degrees. 

Each stripe in the chevron shall be a 6" wide single color alternating between red and yellow.   All retroreflective materials to be ASTM D 4956 for Type I Sheeting or better.
