Collection: Starter Triangle for Chevrons

Starter triangles for chevron panel installations

Starter triangles are the corner pieces used when installing chevron striping or pre-striped chevron panels on the rear of fire apparatus, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles. They give the chevron stripe pattern a clean angled start at the top and bottom edges of the rear surface — rather than running a straight cut that leaves a visible gap or off-angle finish.

We supply matched starter triangles in the standard NFPA chevron colors (fluorescent lime and red) so they color-match the chevron material they pair with. Order one set per panel installation: typically four triangles per rear face (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right).

For complete chevron solutions see also one-piece chevron panel kits, pre-striped chevron material, or our FAQ section on NFPA 1901 for guidance on chevron rear-marking layouts.
